I am writing from Women Make Movies, a non-profit distributor of independent educational media, to let you know about the upcoming of SISTERS IN LAW, a powerful documentary about two extraordinary African women who are determined to change their community are making progress that could change the world.
Set in the little town of Kumba, Cameroon, SISTERS IN LAW is a fascinating, often hilarious doc that follows the work of State Prosecutor Vera Ngassa and Court President Beatrice Ntuba as they help women fight often-difficult cases of abuse, despite pressures from family and their community to remain silent.
