I haven’t read Elle yet but I will. I wanted to leave a comment about my own first impression which is a powerful image of a woman being punched in the face. A violent image that I’d think would do more to reinforce violence than to prevent it; an image that suggests that women are no more than helpless victims; an image that suggests that women are victimized by alcohol and not by men and that men are victimized too, by the alcohol. It sucks. People who make these ads should go into analysis.
