This is really important, because as rosy as things look for the Democratic majority in Congress today, things can change quickly. The Freedom of Choice Act needs to be moved forward now.

I think a new 4th wave feminist site has summed up Obama’s thought process on this–that is, if women’s reproductive freedom is no longer attached to the Democratic Party then many women who are social libs but fiscal moderates to conservatives might swing over to the Red party more often.
