vw limp mode reset

I'm a proudly owner of a 2012 Crafter, but in the last few weeks on the dash i get two flashing lights: emission control lamp and engine management â¦ Will unhooking the negetive battery terminal reset the limp mode? Is this something I can do myself with VCDS? I have a 2011 Crafter 2.5 TDI Adblue. Most likely culprit is still a sticky VNT but it could be also be a wire break â¦ After a restart no coil light on the dash and dove the rest of the journey home with no problems.
